Vascular Services and Vein Clinic
Vein disease refers to any condition related to diseased or abnormal veins, and as many as 50 percents of Americans in the 20s to their 80s suffer from some form of vein disease, and many don’t even know it. While mild vein disease is usually not a problem, it can worsen and become crippling.
Arteries carry oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the body, and veins return that blood back to the heart. When the valves in the veins do not work properly, pressure begins to build up and can create symptoms of vein disease, including:
- Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
- Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)
- Venous Disease
